Although most of us already assumed it or knew about it (was mentioned in live chat with Shane), Bridgit Mendler was asked about it during a recent radio interview.

It’s finally official — Bridgit Mendler and Shane Harper are an item!

The 19-year-old singer/actress, who is currently on a promo tour for her upcoming album Hello, My Name Is…, revealed she was dating Shane, also 19, during an interview with the Elvis Duran Show over the weekend.

Smiling at the radio hosts question if she was dating Shane, she responded, “It wasn’t one of those…’you meet on a set and date instantly,’ it took two years.”

Adam Anders’ Deep Well Records sets its first release for Feb. 14 with Disney star Shane Harper.
The man behind the music on Glee and Rock of Ages is launching his own label.

Adam Anders, Executive Music Producer of the Fox series and Warner Bros. film, announced the debut of Deep Well Records on Thursday. Disney star Shane Harper (Good Luck Charlie, High School Musical 2) is the first artist on Anders’ roster, with a debut release slated for Valentine’s Day. Fans of Cody Simpson and Greyson Chance may remember Harper from his stint as their opening act in the spring of 2011.

Deep Well Records has teamed with Target to release Harper’s self-titled album exclusively on Feb. 14 — Harper’s 19th birthday.

“We are thrilled to have such an all around talented artist be the debut release on Deep Well and to have the support and partnership of a respected major retailer like Target speaks volumes towards the household name we believe Shane will be,” said Anders in a statement.

Added Harper, “It’s so incredible to record an album under the direction of someone I respect and is so extremely talented- his musical genius is very much appreciated in helping me put forth my debut album.”

Anders serves as executive producer on the album, which includes the singles “Rocketship” and “One Step Closer.” The 12 track release also includes collaborations with rapper Prophet and Harper’s on and off screen girlfriend, Bridgit Mendler.

4. Spend time with friends and family: I want to stay close with the people who are most inportant to me.

5. Give to the poor: I don’t think there are too many things more important than taking care of the poor.

6. Visit children who are sick: There is nothing more devastating to a family than a child afflicted with an illness. I want to help bring joy to children who are sick and hurting.

7. Workout more and eat healthier.

Yesterday, Shane was one of the many stars that attended the CHOC Hospital Kids Help Kids Charity Event. I have added photos of Shane at the event to our gallery, and below is an article of the event by the OC Register.

ORANGE – Stars from the Disney Channel and Nickelodeon gave out hugs, shared smiles, posed for photos and signed autographs for dozens of young patients in the lobby of Children’s Hospital of Orange County on Sunday.

Their visit kicked off the second annual “Kids Helping Children” event, a fundraiser that benefits CHOC’s Child Life Program.

The program helps normalize the time spent in the Orange hospital by providing toys and playrooms, along with art, music and pet therapies.

“It’s awesome that they (the celebrities) take the time to come out of their lives to spend with children,” said Dianne Montero of Anaheim, whose 7-year old son Nelson flashed a beaming smile after meeting stars Ryan Ochoa, Ashley Argota, Shane Harper, Sammi Hanratty and Stephanie Scott.

“I love how excited they all are,” said Hanratty, who played Holly in the Disney sitcom, “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody.” “I gave every single kid a hug … It really inspires me.”

Ariana DeFour, 10, of Santa Ana said her heart was racing while she was waiting her turn to meet the performers.
Ariana’s sister Anaya, 3, is a patient at CHOC.

“It’s a nice distraction from what they go through here every day,” said Amanda DeFour, the girls’ mother.
And patient Yana Khalaf, 11, of Buena Park was quite familiar with all five celebrity visitors from watching them on television.
“It was really awesome meeting them in person,” Yana said. “Then when I see them on TV, I can say ‘Wow, I met them.’”

From CHOC, the performers joined more than 40 other young stars and 2,000 attendees at the Anaheim Hilton, where an array of activities took place. Close to two-third of the attendees were teenagers.

The event took in at least $30,000, said Betsy Sanz of OC based R & B Vision Marketing, organizers of the fundraiser.
About 150 teens crammed in along the barrier at the red carpet, snapping photos and gushing as each performer made their grand entrance.

Stars at the Hilton included musicians Jordan Jansen Jenson, Ashlee Keating, Mandy Rain and the group, Pink Army.
Actors included Tucker Albrizzi, Tiffany Espensen, Kelly Gross and Dylan Riley Snyder.

NBC will broadcast the show nationally on January 8, 2012 as a part of the Pandora NBC Skating Series. Tickets go on sale Saturday, September 10 at 10 am.

This unique event will feature performances from two-time Olympic figure skating silver medalist Elvis Stojko, 2010 Olympic bronze medalist Joannie Rochette, World Champion and six-time U.S. champion Todd Eldredge, and 2008 Olympic all-around gymnastics champion Nastia Liukin. Performing live will also be Disney Channel, Nickelodeon and YouTube sensations Greyson Chance, Cody Simpson, Ariana Grande, and Shane Harper.

The Progressive Skating and Gymnastics Spectacular skating cast will also include two-time world bronze medalist Michael Weiss, 1987 world bronze medalist Caryn Kadavy and the reigning U.S. champion Ryan Bradley. The cast of gymnasts will be led by Liukin, and 2008 Olympic Silver Medalist and two-time and current U.S. National all-around Champion Jonathon Horton.

The event will be hosted by Olympic champions and legends Peggy Fleming, Nadia Comaneci and Bart Conner.

Greyson Chance has accomplished more than many musicians can hope for in their careers; two successful North American tours, performing at the White House, national television appearances on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” and “Good Morning America,” and now the release of his debut album Hold On ‘Til The Night. Hold On ‘Til The Night not only showcases Chance’s talents as a songwriter, vocalist and piano player, but also his wide range of influences.

Cody Simpson began posting YouTube videos of himself at age 12 performing covers of songs by artists who inspired him, including Justin Timberlake, Jason Mraz, and The Jacksons. In the summer of 2009, she taught music and dance to children in South Africa as a member of “Broadway in South Africa”. She is working on her debut album on Universal Republic Records, which is expected to be released in early 2012.

Shane Harper strums a little tune as he hosts the 2011 Macy’s Summer Blow Out Fashion Show and Music Event with Bridgit Mendler in New York City on Sunday afternoon (July 17).

The Good Luck Charlie costars tweeted their excitement about the event. “Had a BLAST in New York this weekend! So glad to be a part of the Macy’s fashion show today!” Bridgit exclaimed.

“Had such a great time performing and co-hosting the Macy’s summer blow out fashion show with @bmendler707700 …. #NYC,” Shane added.
